Pastoral Care, Prayer and Contemplation

Be careful for yourselves and for all the people God has given you. The Holy Spirit gave you the work of caring for this flock. (Acts 20:28)

No matter what your age or stage of life, we all experience times of change, challenge, difficulty and need. It is during those times that we need to know that we are not alone. Pastoral care is one of the ways in which we can come alongside people and help them through uncharted waters to arrive at a better place with health and wholeness.

  The Caring Tree Ministry

The Caring Tree Ministry is a ministry for and by the parishioners of Immanuel, with Clergy oversight.  The Caring Tree Ministry is comprised of several Team Leaders who gather the list of those requiring care via a phone call or an in person visit, and work with volunteers to provide that contact.   This ministry came together in early 2022 to respond to an increasing need of caring for each other in building up the body of Christ within the parish of Immanuel.  If you or someone you know is ill, bereaved, shut-in, lonely, in need of at home sacraments, or just in need of hearing that someone is thinking of them, please use our contact form to let us know, or contact Deacon Susan Page at spage@immanuelanglicanregina.ca.

Prayer: as a community of faith, we recognize the importance of prayer. Need prayer? We want to pray with you and for you. Email spage@immanuelanglicanregina.ca.
