All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.2 Timothy 3:16 - 17 (New Living Translation)

Fall 2021 - Women of the Hebrew Scriptures - part 2
A BIBLE STUDY IN SCRIPTURE, SHARING, PRAYER AND REFLECTION
Sing to Her a new song of serendipity and shalom, faith finding its own way home, love breaking through the ice cold wall of introverted pain, hope raised to life again: one world sensitivities, passion for possibilities: summer autumn winter spring sing of women witnessing, making a difference, making a start in owning the seasons of the heart. – Miriam Therese Winter
This six week study will begin on Thursday, October 7th, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Due to the high number of COVID-19 cases, this bible study is being offered via ZOOM. There will be no study days on November 4th and 11th, and the last one will be Thursday, November 25th.
This study is open to everyone, regardless of where you are at on your Christian journey or how biblically knowledgeable you may or may not be. The study is a group participation format, led by Rev. Winna Martin, and involves fairly extensive scripture reading and discussion as we travel through the lives of legendary women, mothers, daughters and memorable women of the Hebrew Scriptures.
On Thursday, October 7th, we will spend some time getting to know each other and exploring the life and witness of Tamar (Genesis 38:6-30; 1 Chronicles 2:3-6) and Pontiphar’s Wife (Genesis 39:1-23).
This fall Fr Michael Bruce will introduce you to a wonderful devotional prayer book for use throughout the rest of your life called the Saint Augustine’s prayer book.
The class will start on Friday October 22nd. Each Friday the class will begin with a service of Compline at 6:30 pm, and the class will end by 9:00 pm.
This class requires the purchase of the St Augustine prayer book that can be purchased HERE or can be purchased through other booksellers.
